Painting’s and print’s

I paint in watercolour, acrylic, pastel and mixed media depending on the subject, feel and mood. I work with the highest quality artists’ materials including Arches paper, Windsor & Newton artist quality watercolours, Daler & Rowney acrylics, Schmincke pastels, Sennelier oil paints, Caran D’ache pencils and frames from Nielsen Bainbridge Group. I can also prepare a textured ground using plaster and gesso plus found materials.

These are a few examples of my current work (some for sale). These aren’t commissioned works but are examples of my direction as an artist. Some of these are available as limited edition prints. If you are interested in any of these works, please contact me to discuss. There is a lot of work going on behind the scenes that I will be exhibiting in the near future.

We all see faces in a different way. I paint them as I feel and see which results in abstract or photoreal finishes.

Drawing and painting is a passion for me and I always have a sketchbook on the go, collecting ideas, exploring possibilities and thinking things through. There’s a real enjoyment painting outside and quite often these quick spontaneous sketches develop into a painting in their own right.

Drawn from real-life inspiration, I refine the shapes and colours to the minimum.
